1. Civic Nationalist Party

The party is the civic nationalist party that follows nationalism and supports the values of freedom, tolerance, equality, and rights. The party throughout the cold war supports a foreign policy of non-alignment that called for India to form the alliance with the western and eastern bloc. Rural Health Mission, Unique Identification Authority, Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme and RTI Act.

During the INC regime, the country faces the state of emergency which was declared on 25th June 1975 and officially ended on 23rd March 1977.
