10. Unrestrained Past of Kashi
The name of this place is stated in the Brahmanas,Upanishads, as well as in the Puranas. The word “Kashi” has been originated through the word KAS that factually means to sparkle. As per the ancient records, this temple was established in the year 1490. It has also been ruled by several kings including the Buddhists in the past.
