5. Jaishankar Prasad
Jaishankar Prasad was born on 30.01.1890 in Varanasi city of U.P(Uttar Pradesh). He was like an ideal for the aspiring poets of modern Hindi literature. The variety of his poetry varied from the passionate to the nationalistic. He was also extremely affected by the Vedas. This famous poet left the world on14.01.1937.
4. Suryakant Tripathi ‘Nirala’
Suryakant Tripathi ‘Nirala’initiated the Chayavad drive accompanied by Pant, Mahadevi Verma, and Prasad. He was born on 16.02.1896 in the Midnapur city of West Bengal. He was initially educated in the Bengali language but later shifted to Allahabad city in U.P (Uttar Pradesh) where he began the writing of poetry in Hindi. He took his last breath on 15.10.1961.
3. Ramdhari Singh Dinkar
Ramdhari Singh Dinkar was born on 23.09.1908 in the Simariya city of Bihar. His poetries were related to the pre-independence period that was recalcitrant in nature. His main poetry works comprise of ‘Rahmi-rathi’, as well as ‘Parashuram Ki Pratiksha’. This renowned poet died on 24.04.1974.
2. Abdul Rahim Khan-e-Khana
This renowned poet was born on 17.12.1556 in Lahore city (earlier was part of India but now it is in Pakistan). He was widely recognized as ‘Rahim’. He was supposed to be a successor of Lord Krishna. He died in the year1627.
Kabir was a divine poet who was born in the year 1440, in India. He was universally famous as Sant Kabir. His poetic works comprise of Bijak, Sakhi Granth, Anurag Sagar and Kabir Garhwali. He died in the year 1518.
