  1. Maintain a routine sleep schedule.

Sleep is the one thing that can enhance your day productively or otherwise. You must sleep for 7 to 8 hours daily. These 7 to 8 hours must ideally range between 10 PM to 7 AM. You should try going to bed early so that you can wake up timely. Waking up early has its benefit that can range vastly. Sleeping for less than 7 hours will affect your day negatively. You’ll feel lethargic and sleepy, and you will also lack productivity and motivation. Therefore, take ample sleep that helps you carry yourself throughout the day. While maintaining a sleep routine, make sure that you do not oversleep. It can change the setting of the day as oversleeping tends to increase your wish to sleep.

With all the sitting at one place at school and tuitions, your body tends to become stern. This is not a very good sign. We tend to go out with our friends to eat and party, but you can limit your outings. Make sure you’re eating outside not more than two times a week. Your breakfast should be fulfilling as it is the main meal of your day and it helps you move productively throughout the day. They provide you with natural sugar and fiber. Avoid the intake of caffeine, it can get addictive after a point of time which is not right for the body. Eat a well-balanced diet. It should contain the right amount of protein, fiber, carbs, and the like.

During the period of examinations, you must stay calm and relaxed. To do the same, you can practice meditation. There are various apps and online videos that can guide you through the process of meditation. There are various types of meditations from which you can choose the one that suits you the best. This will help you reconnect with your inner self, not lose yourself in the process of competition, and will help you prepare for the competition in a better way. When you feel anxiety and tension of the exams taking over you, practice on the spot mindfulness exercises such as deep breathing, letting go of everything for a moment, and staying in the present. These will enhance your studies and concentration as well.

  1. Keep yourself hydrated.

Dehydration can cause uneasiness in your body. Keep yourself hydrated throughout the day. Maintain a habit of drinking at least 4 liters of water daily. This is a habit that should be maintained during exams and otherwise also. Lack of water in your body can lead you to be sick therefore drink, drink, and drink away.
