Sharman Joshi was born in Mumbai and got acting as a legacy from his father, Arvind Joshi, who is a leading Gujarati theater artist. Sharman Joshi started his career as a theater artist, playing a deaf character in the Gujarati version of the play called “All the Best” for three years in a row. On the popular platform, he appeared in the television show called “Gubbare” in 1999, and the same year saw his film debut with a parallel cinema film “Godmother”. His first commercial venture was “Style”, which came in 2001 and was an outstanding comedy by N Chandra. The success of this comedy flick made the makers bring its sequel called “Xcuse Me” in 2003, which was followed by another comedy film called “Shaadi No 1” in 2005.
