India has one of the largest markets of films in the country, and the people here enjoy watching films of all types. There are a lot of new age directors who make wonderful films, and passing these movies from the censor board is a huge problem. A lot of movies after the censor board bans their completion, and mot of the movies are banned otherwise in different states depending on topic. If the topic is simple and is not exploiting anything, then the censor board easily passes the movies, otherwise it is a big problem.

Directed by Deepa Mehta, Water in another movie, which was banned in India. The Movie stars John Abraham and Lisa. The movie showcased the dark side of the Indian widow and also it was a movie based on misogyny and ostracism, which was unknown to the censor board, and they were enlighten by Anurag Kashyap. A lot of people protested the movie and it was banned in the country.

The movie was released in the year 2005 and it was based on the Godhra riots, which obviously was the main reason to ban the film. The movie had an amazing plot, but the plot doesn’t matter, hence the movie was banned..
