Origin

In the US, scientist Theron T. Pond was the first to develop Ponds cream as a medicine. He discovered that making a therapeutic tea from witch hazel might be used to cure small wounds and other ailments. In 1886, Pond’s started running advertisements under the name Pond’s Healing, and they did so until 1910. The beauty icons Pond’s extract (1886) and Pond’s Cold Cream and Vanishing Cream (1914) were introduced by Ponds. The mid-1920s saw a reflection of its status. As a global firm, Pond’s started its activities in the United States.

Brands Philosophy

Ponds recognizes the significance of beauty—not just looking beautiful, but also feeling lovely—as a precursor to love in a woman’s life.
