The LLOYD brand was founded in Bremen, Germany, in 1888 when H. F. Meyer founded the H. F.-Meyer-Schuhfabrik, realizing a lifelong ambition. 1905 A new trademark, LLOYD, was registered in Germany on May 30, 1905. Havells purchased Lloyd in 2017. With a combined yearly manufacturing capacity of 20 lakh air conditioners in India, the brand maintains two manufacturing facilities in Andhra Pradesh, Sri City, and Ghiloth, Rajasthan.
