After weeks of fear, high-risk stunts and intense competition, Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 finally has its winner. Television actor Avinash Mishra won Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 15, beating Rithvik Dhanjani and Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, in the grand finale.
The Rohit Shetty-hosted reality show concluded on October 4, 2026, with Avinash emerging as the strongest performer in the final challenge. His victory earned him much more than the coveted Khatron Ke Khiladi trophy. The actor walked away with Rs 20 lakh in cash, a new Maruti Suzuki Swift and a trip to Europe.
For Avinash, the win was particularly emotional. After spending nearly a decade working in television, Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 gave him one of the biggest competitive achievements of his career.

The final result was:

- First Runner-up: Rithvik Dhanjani
- Second Runner-up: Orry (Orhan Awatramani)
Rithvik proved to be one of Avinash’s strongest competitors throughout the season and finished second. Orry, whose performances became one of the surprises of the season, secured third place.
How Much Prize Money Did Avinash Mishra Win?
Avinash Mishra received a cash prize of Rs 20 lakh for winning Khatron Ke Khiladi 15.
But the cash prize was only one part of his winner’s package. Avinash received:

- Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 winner’s trophy
- Maruti Suzuki Swift car
- Trip to Europe

What Happened in the Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 Final Stunt?
As expected from Khatron Ke Khiladi, the championship was not decided by audience voting. The contestants had to prove themselves in one final high-pressure stunt.
Avinash Mishra, Rithvik Dhanjani and Orry competed in the decisive challenge.
The final stunt involved several difficult stages. The contestants had to jump from a helicopter, get onto and operate a jet ski, enter the water and swim towards the finishing point. The challenge eventually ended with the show’s trademark explosive finish.
Speed was crucial. Avinash completed the entire stunt in the fastest time, putting him ahead of Rithvik and Orry and securing the Season 15 trophy.
It was a fitting ending to a season built around physical strength, mental control and the ability to perform under pressure.
Avinash Mishra Gets Emotional After Winning
The victory clearly meant much more to Avinash than simply receiving another television trophy.
When Rohit Shetty announced his name as the winner, Avinash became emotional. The actor reflected on his long journey in the entertainment industry and what winning the programme meant to him.
The victory came around a decade into his professional journey. For Avinash, the experience became less about proving himself to other people and more about discovering what he was capable of doing.
His reaction became one of the memorable moments of the finale.
Avinash Mishra’s Journey in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15
Avinash entered the programme as one of the new challengers but gradually established himself as a serious title contender.
Rather than relying on one spectacular performance, he remained competitive through different types of challenges. The season tested contestants through water tasks, heights, machinery, physical endurance, fear-based challenges and other extreme situations.
He also earned an immunity jacket during his journey and reportedly went through the season without aborting a task, strengthening his position as one of the most consistent contestants.
By the closing stages, Avinash had already established himself among the favourites and eventually became the season’s first finalist before completing the job in the grand finale.
Who Were the Top Finalists?
The final stages produced a strong group of contenders.
After Rubina Dilaik and Harsh Gujral exited during the earlier part of the finale weekend, the competition came down to Avinash Mishra, Rithvik Dhanjani, Orry, Farrhana Bhatt and Karan Wahi.
Further challenges narrowed the field to the final three: Avinash Mishra, Rithvik Dhanjani and Orry.
The three then competed for the trophy, with Avinash recording the fastest performance.
Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 Theme and Shooting Location
Season 15 carried the theme “Darr Ka Naya Daur.”
The programme combined experienced Khatron Ke Khiladi faces with new challengers, giving the season a slightly different competitive feel. Several reports also described the concept as a Champions vs Challengers format.
The season was shot in Cape Town, South Africa, a location that has provided the backdrop for several memorable editions of the franchise. Contestants faced stunts involving heights, water, machinery, physical endurance and fear.
One of the much-discussed concepts during the season was the “Pain Auction,” which added another unusual element to the competition.

That made his victory an important addition to his career.
A Memorable Finish to Khatron Ke Khiladi 15
Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 ended with exactly the type of finale viewers expect from the franchise – helicopters, water, speed, nerves and a close battle between the season’s strongest contestants.
Rithvik Dhanjani produced a strong run to become the first runner-up, while Orry exceeded many early expectations by reaching the final three. But on the night that mattered most, Avinash Mishra was the fastest.
