Kajal Agarwal was born in Mumbai and her father, Vinay Agarwal is an entrepreneur, while her mother, Suman Agarwal is a confectioner. She did her schooling from St Anne High School and college from K C College in Mumbai, where she got a degree in Mass Media. During her college days, she got some modeling offers and started her career in modeling. Later, she ventured into acting, setting aside her ambition to do MBA.
Kajal Agarwal made her film debut in 2004 with a Bollywood movie called “Kyun.. Ho Gaya Na”, in which she featured in a supporting role.
