Abaan Ahmed, the youngest son of slain gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed, died in a serious road accident in Uttar Pradesh’s Jhansi district on Thursday, August 6, 2026. The crash occurred at about 10:30 a.m. on the Kanpur–Jhansi highway, within the Poonch police station area. Abaan was travelling in a Hyundai Creta with four other people when the vehicle went out of control and struck a concrete road divider.
